I miss books. I've been meaning to pick one up, but I can't decide which so I have just flipped through a few garden books. I get too lost in fiction and I am not sure my brain can handle anything non-fiction yet. I do have to wonder how much social media in particular influences how we feel about these interesting times. I know quite a few people who have had to check out for awhile because it just got to be too much. And even reading blogs it seems like there is a lot of anxiety out there just now (whether related to current events or reproductive systems or whatever).

I would maybe like to blog again one day, when I have the brain power and the time to write something well thought out and meaningful rather than just the ramblings in my head. In the meantime I will continue to have spirited debates with the tv. Pre eclampsia sounds scary but it also sounds like you have a plan to manage it: hoping for the best outcomes there. Glad too that your anxiety is better. We certainly do live in interesting times. I find it exhausting to be surrounded by so much propaganda from all sides: the apparent need of almost everyone to propagandize and take sides leaves me above all with a feeling of unreality: as though personal relationships and all forms of cultural expression are a sham and that it only matters what camp you are in. It is demoralizing and requires a constant emotional and psychological effort to try to see people as (mostly) well meaning individuals and not soulless pawns of these movements. At the same time I do want to understand what is going on, from ALL sides (no I am not convinced of the superior morality of either). But the media is deplorable: never have I read so much and learned so little. I have been reading some very good books and may one day attempt to blog about some of these thoughts. Anyway, we must do the best we can for ourselves and our families. If you drop the blog as an outlet I hope you find another one: all those thoughts have to go somewhere.torthĂșilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07738803052167620020noreply@blogger.com
